The New Zealand Dinner will be hosted at Walter Peak High Country Farm, on the western shores of beautiful Lake Wakatipu. This will provides delegates with the opportunity to relax and experience New Zealand high country life. Return travel to Walters Peak will be on board the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw.

Accompanying Persons Programme
An interesting and varied range of activities are available to accompanying persons.
The ICRAV2010 organising committee has teamed up with HOT Events, a leading NZ conference and events company, to provide these activities.
Queenstown is extremely popular in summer and we cannot guarantee places will be available so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
If there are a sufficient number of bookings, operators will provide private ICRAV tours wherever possible.

MILFORD SOUND COACH TRIP & NATURE CRUISE

Milford Sound is a world famous natural wonder. Grand, brooding, serene and wild, this fiord draws visitors from all over the globe. In the foreground, majestic Mitre Peak dominates the skyline. All around, rainforest clings to sheer rock walls washed with waterfalls.
The journey to Milford from Queenstown is magnificent. The Milford Road (between Te Anau and Milford) is one of the finest alpine drives in the world. The scenery is exceptional, ranging from broad grassy flats, dense rainforest, and towering mountains through to glacial lakes and alpine herb fields. No other road in Fiordland offers such a diverse glimpse into New Zealand’s alpine zone.
Upon arrival at Milford Sound you will explore the fiord on an extended and relaxed Nature Cruise. A picnic lunch will be provided on the vessel.With specialist nature guides on board, this cruise offers a close-up experience of Milford Sound’s rainforest, soaring rock walls, and wildlife.
QUEENSTOWN WINE TRAIL & TASTING

The Queenstown Wine Trail offers a fun, personalised and friendly sightseeing wine tour of vineyards and wineries in New Zealand’s foremost wine regions – Queenstown and Central Otago.
Guests can taste a variety of wines while relaxing at award winning wineries. You will visit Amisfield Cellars at Lake Hayes, Peregrine Winery and the Wine House & Kitchen where Lunch will be served.
Each winery in Queenstown and Central Otago is a unique reflection of the pioneering spirit and passion for wine common to the local winemakers and viticulturalists.
